Chapter 8, Twelve Sceneries of the Third Order

Thus, after completing the cultivation in the third realm, the practitioner must clarify their mind and perceive their true nature, thoroughly understanding that I am I, and the universe is the universe; I have seized the spiritual essence of the world, not to merge back into it, but to become more resilient and powerful, independent of this world

Successfully transcending the tribulation grants one the true possession of an immortal body, and the subsequent practice begins to nurture the primordial spirit. Entering this realm of the primordial spirit signifies a genuine advancement towards the divine domain and celestial paradise. The cultivation remains at the fourth level, which consists of "As You Wish," "Joyful," "Distant Travels," and "Great Carefree Inquiry"

The Three Stages of Twelve Scenes involve first achieving an immortal body, and then beginning to cultivate the primordial spirit. Since Lu Ya has already refined the "Wishful Fetus" in the practice of primordial spirit cultivation, how could he possibly die

Reaching such a state, the lifespan is extended by twenty-seven years

Su Jing let out a long sigh and said, "The younger generation believes that calling it 'Three Levels Twelve Scenes' is more fitting."

People often believe that those who cultivate in the mountains sit upright and serious all day, rarely smiling or speaking lightly. Little do they know that the path of cultivation is never short of lively individuals. It is a simple truth: if all cultivators were rigid and inflexible, how could today's flourishing scene of countless marvelous teachings and numerous immortal sects in the Central Plains come to be?

Chong Sha, Duo Gang, Bao Ping, Po Wu Liang

The body of the treasure vase is completed, and the lifespan is extended by an additional twenty-seven cycles of sixty years.

Lu Ya Jiu understood the youth's confusion. It should be noted that during their own quest for enlightenment, they had the same thoughts about the * diagram * and * book *. He still smiled and shook his head, explaining: "The 'communication' here refers to the connection between heaven and earth. It is about using fundamental techniques to adjust and train the body. Once mastery is achieved, the body will become lighter and more agile, allowing one to perceive things that were previously undetectable: the changes in the spiritual essence between heaven and earth."

If one can complete the cultivation of "Ningqing," their lifespan can be extended by nine years

Once one comprehends the relationship between oneself and the universe, one will immediately attract the heavenly thunder tribulation. Breaking through the minor true unity and transcending the true unity thunder tribulation will extend one's life by eighty-one years

The first three realms mentioned refer to the stages of the growth of the primordial spirit, which can also be referred to as "the Formless Embryo," "the Joyous Child," and "the Traveler from Afar." The Great Freedom Inquiry represents another level of understanding, breaking through the final level of comprehension and facing the ultimate tribulation. If successful, one can attain great freedom and immense joy

Lu Ya Jiu chuckled and said: "Your answer is fairly acceptable, but the key point is that you have made a mistake. It is correct that all three realms involve striving to comprehend the universe; however, the essence of cultivation is not to merge with the universe. On the contrary, it is to allow oneself to become a universe in its own right and then to break through the universe! Thus, the next realm of cultivation is: Xiao Zhen Yi."

In the first realm of cultivation, the insignificant mortal raises his head to catch a glimpse of the ethereal celestial realm for the first time: the path to heaven

The Twelve Scenes of the Third Order? "Lu Ya Jiu Yi smiled it off, changing the subject: 'I have journeyed through the books, breaking through nine realms and overcoming two tribulations, ultimately getting stuck at the tenth level, 'Joyful Child.'"

Above "Xiao Zhen Yi", the fifth realm is called "Chong Sha", which opens the Qi Sea and extends life by three times sixty years; the sixth realm, "Duo Gang", opens the Consciousness Sea, with lifespan suddenly increased by nine times sixty years; the seventh realm, "Bao Ping", opens the communication between the Qi Sea and the Consciousness Sea, at this point both the body inside and out become robust, making all physical preparations for nourishing the primordial spirit. It is said: "The body is like an ancient treasure bottle, every drop of water transforms into spiritual essence"

The body is able to sense the changes in spiritual essence, and the sensations of the world around, as perceived by cultivators, become more vivid. Flowers appear more beautiful, and the chirping of birds sounds more melodious. Consequently, the allure of the material world becomes even stronger. To achieve success in cultivation, one must learn to calm the mind and eliminate external distractions. While this may sound simple, completely excluding external disturbances and freeing the mind from attachments is by no means an easy task. It requires the practice of specialized techniques or the adoption of particular methods.

Clearly, the realm beyond is indeed too distant from the current Su Jing, so Lu Ya Jiu did not elaborate further, merely mentioning it in passing.

In other words, "Tongtian" essentially refers to the process of cleansing the marrow and establishing a solid foundation for the body

True Self, Unique, the Fourth Realm of Cultivation, Little True One. This is a level of comprehension.

To cultivate the primordial spirit is akin to utilizing the spiritual essence of heaven and earth, and forging another miraculous life within one's own body through diagrams and texts. It is essential to comprehend the great principles of the universe. Therefore, the eighth realm represents another level of understanding, one that cannot be guided by others; it must be experienced personally in the world. This is referred to as "Breaking the Infinite"

It is precisely for this reason that the conventional "spiritual body" has gradually been replaced by the more lively, interesting, and metaphorical "heavenly passage"

In ancient times, the first realm of cultivation was referred to as "spiritual body". In comparison, the term "heaven-reaching" is less fitting than "spiritual body" and carries an additional misleading ambiguity. Yet, this added ambiguity is also a form of encouragement for those who are new to cultivation, and it reflects the grand aspirations and ambitions of all cultivators.

To cultivate oneself, one must draw the spiritual essence of heaven and earth into the body, and one must comprehend the world. Inevitably, one will also be influenced by the world, which is unrelated to whether the mind is at peace, but rather is a layer of mental obstruction

The essence of heaven and earth is not like well water and apples, which can be freely harvested and transformed into one's own nourishment. Although the essence lacks consciousness, it can corrode the thoughts of cultivators, causing them to gradually lose their sense of self. The higher the cultivation level, the more susceptible one becomes to confusion. Initially, one cannot distinguish between illusion and reality, and subsequently, the boundary between the external world and oneself becomes blurred. Ultimately, one loses all mental clarity, and the true essence painstakingly refined before dissipates once more, reverting to an ordinary person. Moreover, one may become foolish and never awaken again. Ultimately, one loses all mental clarity, and the true essence painstakingly refined before dissipates once more, reverting to an ordinary person. Moreover, one may become foolish and never awaken again.

The twelve realms of cultivation for mortals were explained in one breath by Lu Ya, without any deliberate emphasis or dramatic expression. However, Su Jing felt his heart racing and was inexplicably excited.

May you find contentment, joy, and freedom in your travels and pursuits of happiness

Su Jing was taken aback: "Didn’t we just say that after overcoming the boundless and crossing the thunderfire tribulation, one could forge an immortal body? How could it be..."

Su Jing's thoughts have always been quite good. After a brief contemplation, he replied: "The three realms are all related to the perception of nature." Drawing inferences from one example and asking further questions is a habit cultivated by Su Jing during his studies under the guidance of his teacher. He then tentatively added: "The purpose of cultivating these three realms is to strive to comprehend nature and to merge with the universe."

In the first two levels, "Tongtian" serves as the foundation for the body, while "Ningqing" serves as the foundation for the heart. The third level, known as "Rushi," is the foundation for the spirit. In this level of cultivation, practitioners guide the spiritual energy from the heavens and the earth into their bodies, opening all three hundred sixty-one acupoints throughout their bodies, which represents a further transformation of the physical form

After finishing his words, Lu Yajiu changed the subject: "The Heavenly Realm for forging the body, the Tranquil Realm for forging the heart, and the Suchness Realm for forging the spiritual foundation. Su Qiangqiang, let me ask you, what is the commonality among these first three levels?"

Finally, Lu Yajiu said: "On the path to immortality, there are twelve realms in succession, plus three tribulations, which cultivators refer to as 'Three Tribulations and Twelve Realms'"

By surpassing Xiao Zhenyi, one will also advance to an entirely new level in their cultivation

Tongtian, Ningqing, www.hetushu.com.com, as well as Xiao Zhen

The youth was somewhat distracted, not merely a moment of excitement, nor a fleeting desire for novelty, and certainly not out of envy for Changsheng's carefree life. Rather, it was a statement from Lu Ya Jiu that truly captivated Su Jing's heart and mind, making him feel as if he had fallen into an unprecedented magnificent dream. He genuinely wished to ascend the successive higher realms to experience those beautiful vistas one by one

Above the realm of Tongtian, lies the "Ningqing" realm

If one can successfully repair the home and break through the immeasurable, one will immediately encounter the immeasurable calamity of thunder and fire

Upon reaching the realm of "Tongtian," regardless of future cultivation, one's lifespan will be extended by three years

As for the three levels of the twelve scenes, understanding the universe, creating one's own universe, and transcending the universe... This is also life, living for oneself. Su Jing's heart was stirred, truly yearning for it.

Unrelated to sword flying or celestial spells, Lu Ya Jiu's words opened up a whole new... way... in Su Jing's eyes. Let's tentatively call it a "way," another way of living. Being an emperor means having a kingdom, being a wealthy man means having estates, and being a brothel owner means having a large group of girls. Regardless, it is all about living in the "world"

According to Lu Yajiu, each time a spiritual aperture is opened, one gains a deeper perception of the world. When all spiritual apertures are fully opened, there will be a sensation of a new realm rushing towards one. At this moment, practitioners will suddenly realize that the world is actually like this; previously, living in the world was merely like seeing flowers in the fog. The name "Thus" originates from this.
